Lust?

“Lust is always related to sexuality or fantasizing or even masturbating or worst making love with the person that you’re not supposed to and many people get addicted to it. And in any religion I believe that lust is always out of discussion. It’s supposed to be a taboo but now the norm is everyone of us has owned it in one way or the other and we have to start manage and balance those. It might not be important but for some this could be his or her journey’s ingredient before arrival to final destination. “

Lust

Let us put it this way. The word lust means ‘desire’.
This word can be used as a noun and as a verb.
Lust is described as an unrestrained sexual craving.

Doesn’t it concern on physical craving? The answer either Yes or No.

Doesn’t it have positive connotation? I bet YES.
For example, if lust correlates with life, it will show eagerness or enthusiasm.

Lust could also mean ‘pleasure or relish’.
When someone lusts for or lusts after someone or something, he has an intense or obsessive desire to possess that person or thing.

Such a desire is generally sensual.

Examples of lust:

* Is Bill Clinton on Monica, a lust?
* Is Romeo on Juliet, a lust?

Lust competitors are:

  • Stress
  • Asexual
  • Aversion
  • Chastity
  • Disenchantment
  • Disgust
  • Perseverance
  • Dislike
  • How about love?

Is lust and love the same thing?

The answer is NO. It’s a NO – NO

Lust is definitely not equal to Love

If your feelings are just intense sensual desire towards a person, this is only lust.

If it is tender, passionate affection for that person, so this is love.

“This is the monstrosity in love, lady, that the will is infinite and the execution confined; that the desire is boundless, and the act a slave to limit.” William Shakespeare

“Lust is to the other passions what the nervous fluid is to life; it supports them all, lends strength to them all ambition, cruelty, avarice, revenge, are all founded on lust.” Marquis De Sade

Let me end the line on lust with this interesting phrase

“Lust does never want to leave their bed; love does never want to leave their side”

P/S: I lusted you ;)
